Angkatan Bersenjata Indonesia dan Australia melaksanakan rangkaian kegiatan AUSINDO HLC ke-10 di Perth, Australia pada tanggal 14 Oktober 2022. Kegiatan tersebut dipimpin secara bersama oleh Panglima TNI Jenderal TNI Andika Perkasa dan Panglima Angkatan Bersenjata Australia General Angus Campbell. Kedua pimpinan tertinggi militer tersebut didampingi oleh para pejabat teras masing-masing Angkatan Bersenjata yang bertindak selaku Ketua Sub Komite HLC dan Kapuskersin TNI, Laksamana Pertama TNI Bambang Dharmawan, S.E., M.Sc selaku Sekretaris HLC Indonesia.
HLC merupakan salah satu bentuk implementasi kerja sama internasional di level military to military yang dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan hubungan kedua negara. Melalui kegiatan ini, kedua belah pihak dapat berbagi pandangan tentang perkembangan kawasan dan situasi terakhir kerja sama militer yang telah terjalin sejak Tahun 1972 dalam bentuk Defence Cooperation (Defco). Kerja sama tersebut selanjutnya diwujudkan dalam kegiatan pertemuan tahunan bersama yang dikenal dengan AUSINDO HLC. Agenda kegiatan ini antara lain mencakup dialog dan kerja sama bilateral yang berkaitan dengan masalah keamanan strategis, pertukaran informasi maupun kerja sama antar Angkatan di bidang lainnya yang disepakati kedua pihak.
Secara umum, AUSINDO HLC mewadahi empat bidang kerja sama, yaitu bidang intelijen (Joint Sub-Committee on Intelligence/JISC), bidang operasi dan latihan (Joint Sub-Committee on Operations and Exercises), bidang pendidikan (Joint Sub-Committee on Education and Training) dan bidang logistik (Joint Sub-Committee on Logistics). Eratnya hubungan dari kedua Angkatan Bersenjata itu turut tercermin dari adanya penandatanganan Pernyataan IKAHAN yang menunjukkan dukungan penuh kedua negara terhadap keberadaan IKAHAN yang sejak awal berdirinya telah memberikan banyak manfaat bagi institusi pertahanan dan militer. Hasil-hasil yang telah dicapai dari HLC AUSINDO ke 10 dan keberadaan IKAHAN ini akan sangat berarti bagi pengembangan kapasitas militer dan kerja sama kedua negara.
Kedua pimpinan sidang menyampaikan ucapan terima kasih dan penghargaan kepada para ketua sub komite atas penyampaian laporan dan informasi tentang perkembangan kerja sama masing-masing bidang. Sidang diakhiri dengan penandatanganan Joint Outcomes Document dengan salah satu hasil kesepakatan bersama bahwa AUSINDO HLC ke-11 Tahun 2023 akan diselenggarakan di Indonesia pada waktu dan tempat yang akan ditentukan selanjutnya.
The Indonesian and Australian Defence Forces held a series of activities for the 10th AUSINDO HLC in Perth, Australia on October 14, 2022. The activity was jointly led by CDF of Indonesia General Andika Perkasa and CDF of Australia General Angus Campbell. The two highest military leaders were accompanied by the core officials of each Defence Force who acted as the Chairman of the HLC Sub-Committee and the Chief of TNI ICC Commodore Bambang Dharmawan, S.E., M.Sc as Secretary of HLC Indonesia.
HLC is a form of implementation of international cooperation at the military to military level which is carried out to improve relations between the two countries. Through this activity, both parties can share their views on the development of the region and the latest situation of military cooperation that has been established since 1972 in the form of Defence Cooperation (Defco). The cooperation is further manifested in the joint annual meeting known as AUSINDO HLC. The agenda of this activity includes, among others, bilateral dialogue and cooperation related to strategic security issues, information exchange and cooperation between armed forces in other scope agreed upon by the two parties.
In general, AUSINDO HLC accommodates four areas of cooperation, namely the scope of intelligence (Joint Sub-Committee on Intelligence / JISC), the scope of operations and exercises (Joint Sub-Committee on Operations and Exercises), the scope of education (Joint Sub-Committee on Education and Training) and the scope of logistics (Joint Sub-Committee on Logistics). The close relationship between the two Defence Forces is also reflected in the signing of the IKAHAN Statement which shows the full support of the two countries for the existence of IKAHAN which since its inception has provided many benefits for defense and military institutions. The results that have been achieved from the 10th AUSINDO HLC and the existence of IKAHAN will be of great significance to the development of military capacity and cooperation between the two countries.
The two leaders of the session expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the heads of the sub-committees for the submission of reports and information on the progress of cooperation in each field. The session ended with the signing of the Joint Outcomes Document with one of the results of the joint agreement that the 11th AUSINDO HLC in 2023 will be held in Indonesia at a time and place to be determined later.
